Responding Code 3 to a Motor Vehicle Accident w/ a Fatality

UPDATE: 3/27/2017. My father and I understand what we didn't do corrrect according to EVOC. My father has been a fire fighter for over 17 years, is fully up to date with all required trainings and has taken countless hours of training. Addressing running sirens out of the neighborhood. The only reason I ever run the siren in the neighborhood is if I see traffic. If not we don't use it in the neighborhood. 9 years of having lights and sirens and zero complaints from anyone. Also addressing the passing on the right. While it's not recommended my father took the way he thought would get us there the fastest and safest. We were both keeping an eye on people that would possibily cut infront of us. First the Penske truck couldn't hear us so we moved onto the shoulder/on ramp. The semi saw us and couldn't move to the right so he went to the left shoulder. If we would've went left the shoulder is much narrower. The 2nd time was because traffic was already a shitshow and it would've been longer to fight through traffic that was already slowed down looking at the accident. It's easy for people to sit back on their computers and be an armchair EVOC trainer but until you learn the shit design of our local highways you won't understand why we do half these things.
READ THE DESCRIPTION BELOW

Fatal MVA pickup Vs Tractor Trailer. You are going to see us running up the shoulder in parts of the video. While this is advised against in EVOC we were trying to get to the scene as fast as possible due to the nature of the call. With it being almost rush hour and in a bad spot we had to hurry to get there.
