Born at our house 14 years and 8 months ago, she spent her whole life with us here, sadly we had to say goodbye this past week. Dog and pet parents will know exactly how this feels, suffice to say a part of you goes with them, and many fond memories of them stay with us, until perhaps it's our own turn... and then after, who knows? Do we see them again? Hope so, it will be a big pack for us. We've had many dogs over the decades.

It's never an easy experience parting, but its also the completion of the contract we make with our animals, to be loving and caring, right to the end, however that may be. Be sure to love up your creatures and people alike.
