While the term OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) might sound like full citizenship, there are important distinctions to be aware of.

No Indian Passport:
Unlike naturalized Indian citizens, OCI cardholders cannot apply for an Indian passport. Indian passports are exclusively reserved for Indian citizens.

Limited Rights:
