We have some Japanese space toy examples in the collection here, by manufacturers such as Daiya, Tokyo Plaything Shokai, Yonezawa, and Masudaya. Germany also produced a number of beautiful tinlitho space toys during the late ’40s and into the ’50s and ’60s, by manufacturers such as Technofix and Blomer & Schuler. Both tinlitho and plastic space toys were also produced in many other countries around the world: we have examples from the UK, Italy, Argentina, Hong Kong, and the USA.
