http://www.mountvernonaviationexpo.com – REV ultralight trike, from Evolution Trikes home of the REVO! Taking a look around Sun N Fun I came across the folks from REVO who produce one of the finest and boldest looking weight shift control light sport aircraft in the world.

The REVO was designed by Larry Mednick and his manufactured in the U.S. Larry and his staff have been on the leading edge of trike technology for years and have introduced a number of innovative ideas to their products.

This year at Paradise City they once again proved that they are leaders not followers, with the introduction of the REV which won Grand Champion Ultralight at Sun N Fun! The REV (by REVO Evolution Trikes) is a single seat part 103 legal trike, that has a number of unique features.

But the most interesting is that it can go from flying to be folded ready to roll into a trailer by one person in as little at six minutes, with no special tools, and without breaking your back! And then do the same to go back flying. It is so simple that an eight year old could do it and did!

The standard engine on the REV is a Kawasaki 440, and Larry indicates he is also looking "at some electric propulsion systems". The REV comes in at the maximum legal weight for a part 103 ultralight, and can be equipped with big tundra ties if equipped with a parachute.

At the time of writing Sun N Fun 2015 the starting price of the REV, ready to fly was just under $18,000.
