Today's video we will be covering the reverse around the corner. The reverse around the corner in your driving test is probably the most difficult part of the driving test in Ireland. The driving tester will rate your reverse on 3 different headings. You can be marked on the reverse around the corner in your driving test for competency, observation or right of way.

Competency means can you reverse around the corner at a reasonable speed, keeping reasonally close the to curb all in a nice smooth motion. Observation for the reverse around the corner is looking out your back window on the straight with other scanning techniques too. When you steer, you need to do observation out your blind spot over your right shoulder. Right of way when reversing around the corner means when we see other road users, we give right of way as appropriate.
