Independent curator and art historian Anita Bateman, Ph.D, moderated the conversation. This event took place on Zoom on October 14, 2020, and was cosponsored by the Forum for Scholars and Publics and The Focus Program at Duke University, in collaboration with Duke’s firstyear FOCUS course, “Human Rights on Camera,” taught by Professor Rebecca Stein.
