So, what’s the fuss about the RGT Intruder 86020? Isn’t it just another car? Well, no: for a start, it’s their first big release for 2024. Secondly, it looks the same as the RGT Rescuer EX86190, which will inevitably lead to comparisons with the older, larger model.

Here's the thing: RGT has proven they can make great vehicles. They’ve shown that they can make a decently durable model that performs well AND has parts and upgrade availability. As these models draw new potential customers to consider the brand, their newest model releases matter all the more.

The RGT Intruder EX86020 is their first, highlevel scalemodel RC crawler that doesn’t have the extra bells and whistles that many folks avoid. It has a gorgeous body. The price suggests quality. The running gear is solid (Ujoints in those front axles, for example). And it’s all 1/10 scale kit.

In short, this model needs to be good. Better than good. Newcomers to RGT are watching this one! Let's test!

LEDs in Bumpers:
I'd put two white LEDs and two red LEDs in series, then run the two pairs in parallel. The white LEDs are happy all day at 3v each, but red likes 2.42.6v, so be sure to add a resistor on the red LED line! Plug this 2x2 assembly into a spare Rx port and wire it up neatly.
