Looking over the shoulder of a train driver on the route from Leiden Centraal to Utrecht Centraal.

We ride on the intercity from Leiden Centraal to Utrecht Centraal. Along the way we stop at the stations of Leiden Lammenschans, Alphen aan den Rijn, Bodegraven and Woerden.
Between Leiden and Woerden we drive through the Groene Hart, this is an area that mainly consists of meadows that are surrounded by the larger cities of the Netherlands, namely Utrecht, Amsterdam, Leiden, The Hague and Rotterdam.

It is a beautiful summer evening, the sun is wonderfully low in the sky and otherwise it is a nice quiet ride.
