The Calimoto App is a motorcycle trip planner, GPS and tracker app which allows you to find the very best riding roads wherever you are in the world, simply at the tap of a button. It allows you to effortlessly plan a route either on your phone or desktop (with both syncing seamlessly with the other), receive turn by turn navigation specific for bikers, uses full worldwide coverage maps available offline for those times when you have no signal, it records all your ride data, and allows you to easily share your adventure with friends.

That's quite a claim eh, so how does it hold out in practice? Well I took the bull by the horns and headed out for a solo ride in Southern Spain armed with nothing more than the app, a bike, and a sense of adventure. Here's how I got on, hope you enjoy it folks.
