The first half of Day 3 of our ride in September 2021, on the 600mile original northern route of the Cross Pennsylvania Adventure Trail on our 2008 Yamaha TW200s, laden with enough provisions to last a week.

In this episode, we emerge unscathed after hunkering down in the Loyalsock State Forest during torrential rain and a barrage of lightning strikes. The day gets better, and we discover more waterfalls, deer, and... emu?
