50 yard range. Nice day, occasional 13 mph winds.
23 groups were decent. The barrel is not fully seasoned at this point with only 100 rounds through it.
I was hoping for at least one group in the '1's' today. This was not that day.
There were two groups of 0.23" and 0.24", one Eley and one Lapua. The Eley Lot 02275 carried over to the reliability groups with 0.25" and 0.32".
I feel this will improve.
One spent Eley casing failed to eject, necessitating use of a cleaning rod for removal. All else function wise was flawless. I meant to keep the casing to measure the rim thickness, but in the heat of malfunction, I reflexively pitched it. This rifle is chambered to Lapua which specs 0.043", Eley is 0.039" rim thickness.
Will shoot a good bit more of Lot 02275. My grail is the elusive 0.1" group!
