Welcome to a creation that is part of my Northern Lights and Aurora Borealis Series. This creation is one of my favorites in the series and I will tell you why. I managed to create shadows, depth and glow of green in the rings which really reflect how the Northern Lights appeared to me that evening. Follow the series and see how I create various creations using different techniques. I'd love for you to follow along; see which creation you like the best and let me know if you also attempt any of these creations... so... let's see what we can create.

Today's Tutorial Information:
â–¶ Technique: Ring Pour
â–¶ Pouring Medium formula: My paints are mixed with paint, water and a pouring medium (Floetrol Owatrol) with a ratio of 1:1:3 You may have to adjust your ratios depending on the paint brands you use. Floetrol Owatrol is thicker than the US version of Flood Floetrol so you might not need the water element when mixing your paints.
â–¶ Color Palette: all the Color's I have mixed up across all creations.
Amsterdam: Ultramarine Violet, Lamp Black (Base)
Arteza: Raspberry Red
Pebeo: Chrome Green Hue.
Winsor & Newton: Perm Green Light
When I use a cell activator I use Australian Floetrol and Titanium White 4:1
â–¶ Hair dryer: When I use a hair dryer I use the Remington D3010 and always use the cool setting and the lowest blow speed.
