A touch of Stedman on this fine 1905 Taylor eight, tenor 19021 in E. Unfortunately this Victorian church was destroyed by fire in the 60s, leaving only the tower. The new building attached is more like a school hall in character and is not the most attractive! The bells however are excellent and go well. To my ears they sound quite like Gillett & Johnston bells as they have a brighter tone than many Taylor rings. A superb ring to round off a super weekend in Notts.
