We decided to rip off the wood we put on the shipping container. After putting the rough cut board and batten on the top section, Dylan didn't like the way it looked. Instead we ripped it off and added a lap siding. However, not without a little bit of saw milling of course, because we ran out of rough cut lumber. That small change made a huge difference and now we can continue to work and create our dream homestead! Speaking of dream "modern" homestead, we had a crazy wind storm come through that knocked over a large oak tree. We used our Kubota tractor and chainsaw to clean up the yard.
