We rode right at 36 miles round trip on this Riverfront Trail between Chain of Rocks and the St Louis Arch. The Chain of Rocks bridge was very nice (separate video on that one) and the area around the Arch was splendid. The trail between was just hohum and some parts were just downright sketchy the nearer you got to St Louis.

Apparently prior river flooding caused some issues that have yet to be rectified, leaving the rider to discover their own way around flood gates and barricades. It's a bit daunting to ride through areas that are so run down. It is obvious to see that past attempts were made for this trail to be noteworthy, but lack of maintenance and care have left many areas less than desirable. Come on Missouri, you have great potential here, fix it up.
