RIZE Bikes Blade Review - $1.7k

The RIZE Bikes Blade is a featurecomplete fat tire electric minibike with durable plastic fenders to keep you dry, an extralong saddle and metal foot pegs for passengers. It comes with a custom rear rack that has plenty of space for a basket, trunk bag, or simple bungee cables to hold your extra gear. The bike can handle up to 300lb max weight. Great safety features here, the rear axle is secured with a mini torque arm to handle the powerful 750 watt geared hub motor, the tires have KS puncture protection and reflective sidewall stripes, and the bike comes with integrated lights! The headlight isn't super visible from the sides, but the rear light is... and it has a blinking mode! With a powerful, potentially fast ebike like this (with unlockable higher speeds), it's important to have great brakes... and the 180mm Tektro hydraulic disc brakes are great. Optional upgraded battery pack provides 16% more juice and only costs $200. Optional bags bags and electronic horn are also cool. Most minibikes feel awkward to pedal because the saddle is wide and you cannot raise or lower it, you just scoot forward or back. It's nice that the bike has two sets of bottle cage bosses, but the close one puts your bottle at a 90degree angle so it could drip, and the lower one is too far to reach and probably best for use with a folding lock.
