Our Family took a 2 week long road trip from South Carolina up to Maine where we drove 3,800 miles through 10 states! Highlights of the trip included Niagara Falls, New River Gorge National Park, Fort Niagara, NY Adirondack Mountains, Cape Cod MA, Cape Cod National Seashore, Acadia National Park in Maine, Hershey PA chocolate factory, Gettysburg PA, Shenandoah National Park, and many stops in between! We saw beautiful mountains and country side, walked under Niagara Falls, watched fireworks over the falls, toured a 17th century castle at Fort Niagara, saw NYC from a distance, saw how chocolate is made, rode through Amish country, hiked, and picnicked just to name a few!
