While in Bandung I heard about Ciwidey which was only an hour and a half away from the city so I decided to rent a scooter and get myself a cosy room in a quiet village resort in Ciwidey.

When arriving at Neo Scooter Rental the family was celebrating a birthday and invited me as well. I joined in on the fun for a bit to then get started on my road trip to Ciwidey Shine River resort.

When I arrived I did a quick room tour and started for a walk around the area. While walking in the village everyone said hello, literally everyone. It was such a joy to walk there!

I tried an ice chocolate drink, did some grocery shopping and tried local fried tofu.

With my Youtube videos I aim to show a different perspective than what most travel vloggers would do by interacting with people and really getting the local insights of the places I visit. No matter their social background I treat everyone equal. Sometimes this results in awkard conversations but I love it!
