A few New releases on rusty Kaspa, version 0.15.1 and version 0.15.2.
Kasplex krc20 re release 15th September, went extremely well on kasplexs network and Kaspa remained in phased and stayed completely stable through the release. Kaspa handled 13mil transactions in the first 24hours of going live. 21,740,000 kas paid in gas fees in that 24 hour period. Christian Ludwig posted on x that his mining rewards were up roughly 10% with the additional fees and transactions from krc20.

Over a 7 day period, Kaspa had over 9.5mil transactions and BTC had over 3.8mil transactions.

Kasplex now working on phase 2 roadmap

Problem with kasware wallet, which is a third party wallet and not affiliated with Kaspa or kasplex, they had some issues with a bug in their rbf feature causing some wallets to be emptied using the wallet amount as a fee. (Important to use a sacrificial wallet when playing with any crypto network)
Kasplex krc20 rerelease also marks KEF Katalyst release, where they have raised $10m of funding for a multi phase campaign that includes grants, user and developer education, infrastructure development, community events. Michael Sutton has done a deep dive into the performance of Kaspa mainnet during the krc20 rerelease and has posted his data on his x account, well worth a read if your interested. There was no tldr but I would sum it up as Kaspa smashed it.

Sept 2223 Advances in Financial Technologies AFT 2024 Austria,with eyal, Kaspador, rilragos, renegater, rob and kingu. Kaspador attended and did a great summary on his x saying that the room was full of high iqs, with almost all of them knowing about a direct acyclic graph. 7/10 people there knew or had worked/studied with the big dog hashdag yonton himself. Kaspador continued to say that everyone was impressed with the Kaspa kgi, and how blocks were composed, merged and distributed.

Ambassadors

Since Luke took the reigns as director of Kaspas ambassador programme, the kap 2.0 has been released and in the first 24 hours received 80+ applicants which is amazing to see and shows how passionate the community is. But this is also a good time to point out what they are looking for in an a ambassador which is, people who are truely passionate about Kaspa and spreading the word, becoming an ambassador is not s move for financial gain but purely a way of having your devotion to Kaspa acknowledged.
