Rocktaping for Lower back pain

If you are looking to introduce Rocktaping into your treatment toolbox here is a really good introduction technique for offlaoding Lumbar spine pain.
I have used this technique post hands on treatment , it works a gem.

Cut two stabilising pieces to run either side of the erector spinae muscles, 30% Stretch , put client into as much lumbar flexion , apply the tape, then use a decompression load across the area where the pain is whilst your client is in flexion.

The beauty of this tape is that your clients can wear it for upto 5 days even more sometimes., whilst the tape is on it is lifting and offloading because of the tapes ability to recoil.

Don`t forget to do your checks and balances with your assessment and work out your hand on treatment plan then use the tape as the post treatment sequence.

Take my advice and try it on your next lower back pain client , i would love to hear your feedback.
