The rut is in full swing down in the south west of England with bucks coming into the call.

We called in this buck early in the evening using the buttolo call. Using the Swarovski EL range finders gives me so much confidence taking high neck/ head shots. This buck was 170 yards, lying down off the bipod using a Sako A7 in .308 with Swarovski Z4i Sako .123 grain ammunition.

On inspection the shot placement was absolutely smack on, but it was slightly graphic so have decided to leave it out of the video!
