First video in a series about getting this $50 Go kart back on the trails!
Bought it on a selling buying app.
Cons: Doesn't have a key, tires are rotted, master cylinder is frozen(no brakes) broke the vacuum fuel pump removing the fuel line. Didnt know if it it runs or drives when I bought it.
Pros: It was $50 bucks! It's complete!
Since I bought it I have gotten it to fire up using starter fluid. Added fresh fuel and she still didn't run without starting fluid. Cleaned the carb which actually looked really clean except for 1 port that was clogged with a jelly like substance. Replaced damaged vacuum lines and added fuel. No starting fluid this time n she fired up n died out shortly after. Cranked it again and it ran great. Now it starts on every turn of the key. That's where I am now.
So far it's a great kart, especially for the $50 I paid for it. I have not gotten it out for a run yet but soon!
