In November I spotted this old synth with issues offered at a low price, since it had some issues. Since I've had the big brother Roland D50 I was curious to hear, if the #rolandd20 would sound the same or maybe better, having been released 2 years after the D50. I was not too impressed with the D20 at the time, since I had no need for a sequencer and did not understand multitimbrality. It just felt like a lesser D50.

Now I'm giving both synths a sound demo run together, looking for sounds that sound similar, so you can hear the differences more clearly. In part 1 I pick out sounds mostly namned the same from both synths, in part 2 I will test a few sounds that someone made trying to imitate D20 sounds on the D50.
