Rollerskating safety is important! I always wear full protective gear when I'm learning a new or difficult skill on skates. One of the first steps of learning to rollerskate safely is to protect your body. Especially when you're a beginner rollerskater, wearing a helmet, elbow pads, wrist guards, and knees pads when you put on your rollerskates is a smart move that can give you extra confidence while you learn. Part of learning is falling, failing, and bailing protecting your body can help it hurt less and potentially prevent an injury when it does happen. I thought I'd share the protective gear I trust and use, hope it helps you out!
