Leading up to the event, extensive marketing efforts were aimed at fans of corridos and supporters of artists like Natanael Cano, Fuerza Regida, and Junior H. However, just three days before the festival, complications arose.

Junior H and Natanael Cano faced visa issues, preventing their appearance at Rolling Loud. Moreover, Junior H's sudden booking at the Vive Latino festival on the same day breached his contract with Rolling Loud. Adding to the chaos, Fuerza Regida, initially part of the lineup, unexpectedly withdrew just two hours before their scheduled set.

The lastminute changes left many fans disheartened, especially those who had purchased tickets specifically to see these Mexican artists.
