Hey, did you know that 25 years before Roseanne Barr pissed everyone off by supporting Donald Trump for president, she did her second standup comedy special at his castle? I haven't been able to find this video anywhere on the internet, and like all of her early work, it deserves to be seen. Also Tom Arnold is there.

There's a brief cameo by The Donald too, but her politics were a little different back then. The irony is, people used to say Roseanne was too far to the left, with storylines on her show about issues like poverty, teen sex, domestic abuse, and gay relationships that pushed the boundaries of what was acceptable on television. The one constant I can find in her evolving political views and persona is, both then and now, when the morality police tell her what not to say, she flips them the bird.

Love her or hate her, this is Roseanne at her funniest, meanest, and sharpest. I don't always agree with her, but I always think she's worth listening to.
