My patient Luke has had 2 shoulder surgeries over the years on BOTH shoulders. On his left he has had a recent bicep tenodesis, and now he has developed an infraspinatus tear. These 2 issues combined give him some anterior instability and pain in the front of the shoulder.
Here are 2 advanced external rotation exercises that we have got him doing.
1. External Rotation (135 deg)
2. Shoulder Press Anterior Band (no vertical load)
