I've long loved the Roterfaden Taschenbegleiter ("Bag" or "Pocket Companion") the German clipbased binder/portfolio system that offers an unparalleled level of versatility by allowing you to use most standardsize notebooks and refills, including the ones that already might be part of your daily carry. For this reason I consider the Roterfaden to be more of a "Portfolio" than a standalone notebook system like Plotter or the Traveler's Notebook.
