I show you how I made my rotisserie motor from an old 1960 car 12 volt wiper motor and how to power it. I have had the motor for 10 years and have run it for 6hrs continuously. You can always buy ready made rotisserie motor from BBQ suppliers, but where's the fun in that. The motor can be powered by a 12 volt battery or a 12 volts battery charger. Always use a licensed electrician to make modifications to the power supply. I haven't tried this but you can connect a portable solar panel to the battery to charge it, which can be used in areas where there is no power. I hope this info helps you.
