Had an engine failure around February 15. Luckily I was at a hover. No damage to the airframe. But unfortunately due to my excessive boost pressure my crankshaft snapped and cause sudden stoppage. I immediately called Mark Peterson to develop a plan to get back in the air. I purchased a donor engine and brought everything to Marks place in Alabama to start the rebuild process. This is time lapse over a two week period. Marks son Zach assisted me throughout the process. More shakedown flying over the next couple of days and than hopefully off to Jim Hardy’s for a Rotorway gathering.
