Vikings 3rd With Tough Game Against Macarthur 3rd

Vikings 3rd had trouble keeping up with Macarthur 3rd in a 71 loss on Saturday at Riverside Park.

Macarthur 3rd jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Fynn Bannura singled, scoring two runs, and a wild pitch scored one run.

A single by Lachlan New* extended the Macarthur 3rd lead to 40 in the top of the second inning.

Bailey Rosser earned the win for Macarthur 3rd. The pitcher allowed three hits and one run over four innings, striking out two and walking two. Joshua Light took the loss for Vikings 3rd. The pitcher went onethird of an inning, giving up three runs on two hits, striking out none and walking three.

Jacob Richards, Nathan Ward, and Daniel Cruise each collected one hit for Vikings 3rd. Benjamin McWilliams stole two bases.

Brendon Goddard and Bannura were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Macarthur 3rd while hitting backtoback. Goddard, Bannura, and New* each drove in one run for Macarthur 3rd. Macarthur 3rd had patience at the plate, tallying six walks for the game. Mitchell Liddle and Cormac Boggiss* led the team with two free passes each. Boggiss* stole four bases. Macarthur 3rd stole four bases in the game. Macarthur 3rd turned one double play in the game. Macarthur 3rd didn't commit a single error in the field. Liddle had the most chances in the field with four.
