The WDR BIG BAND plays the concert "Hargrove Grooves" together with the American jazz trumpeter Roy Hargrove (Leverkusener Jazztage, 2007). Most of these pieces of music were written during the very creative period of his band THE RH FACTOR Michael Abene arranged the pieces for the WDR BIG BAND. Produced for WDR Jazzline under the direction of Elmar Herkrath, Peter Sommer and manager of the WDR Big Band: Lucas Schmid.
