The Germanlanguage RTL Plus, broadcast from tiny Luxembourg but aimed at most of West Germany, starts the day with a threepart signon: 'Happi Luxembourg', borrowed from the Radio Luxembourg German Service, over a montage of Luxembourgeois sights; a NASAstyle countdown sequence featuring various buttons being pressed in the radio station's control room (many of the button being pressed have nothing to do with television; those that do have nothing to do with starting the station for the day); and finally a long ident fully of whizzy 1980sstyle computerstyle animation. And then there's the most 1980s ever continuity announcer in his leather jacket.
