On this Adventure Into History, Dan and I are back in Rough Edge. This time, we explore the ruins of an early settlement home. After documenting the old field stone chimney, we search the surrounding ground for artifacts and find several Native American pieces. Interestingly, we find no signs of artifacts from the European settlers who built the house. The adventure then takes us to picking blackberries, and we conclude with a peaceful, if slightly abrupt, ending by a beautiful springfed creek.
