A runup, takeoff and landing in our DHC2 Beaver. In this video, I take you through my pre takeoff checks, and then talk through how I fly the Beaver.

You’ll see why the DHC2 is renowned for its STOL characteristics, with a short takeoff into a 15 knot headwind.

A fairly strong crosswind on the landing, but the Beaver handles it well with just a touch of brake to keep it straight.
