Running with runner's knee. If you're running with knee pain, you probably know that taking a rest from running (or reducing your weekly training load) will help your knee pain to recover. The question is: how do you know whether you need to take days, weeks or even months off from running to cure your patellofemoral pain syndrome.

In this video, I'm going to show you one of the most important aspects of your knee pain to understand. Once you think about your knee pain in terms of severity and irritability, you'll be able to make sensible decisions about whether or not you'd be better served by resting your knee and allowing it to heal.
