This forced wipe we griefed clans with increasingly severe methods demanding a ransom payment to cease and desist. Initially these groups were fairly resistant. After all, one layer of stone TC's might not seem so bad but when the watchtowers, landmines and HV rockets make their way into the picture, the ransom payment can be quite compelling.

Initially we had absolutely no plans to make the server a living hell for zergs residing in any corner of the map, but after having our build spot griefed by one particularly toxic group, we had our lightbulb moment.

Things escalate quickly between ourselves and a neighboring clan and after realising the offline raid attempts would be ineffective, they turned up the heat. However, they weren't the only ones looking to take us out. Other groups were also planning to lay waste to our humble abode, but a few unexpected twists bring this story full circle.
