Today we look at the DC to DC Charger we installed to charge our RV Batteries while we drive with the alternator. This helps charge the RV batteries more effectively because it will charge in multiple stages and deliver the optimal voltage. It's a great addition to take control of charging your batteries and can save your alternator when you switch to lithium batteries. If we had a Class A, Class C, or Class B, this is an upgrade I would do at the same time as switching over to lithium. Alternator charging is an excellent option to charge your batteries and some skip solar because it can be so effective. The great thing about it is it is not dependent on weather or shade to charge your Rv batteries offgrid.
