Ryan Nottingham is a freelance trumpet player from Louisville, Kentucky. Blood Sweat and Tears originally performed Spinning Wheel with Lew Soloff played the solo and Ryan was sightreading the trumpet solo and playing lead trumpet at this live gig.

Ryan has been a student of Jeff Purtle since October 2019 and is a good example of skill and versatility that comes from the Claude Gordon and Herbert L. Clarke concepts applied through systematic practice.
