Onboard one of Ryanair's Dublin shuttle flights from the UK. This was FR663 from Birmingham on November 2nd 2020. With the airline industry still in absolute pieces and just before another national lockdown in the UK I thought I'd stick to my plans having booked this flight several months ago and head for a trip over the Irish sea. Departure time was 08:00 and we were actually airborne at exactly 08:00, pushed back at 7:52 well ahead of schedule. Taxied to the Northerly runway which is RWY33 at BHX and took off towards the city. Some beautiful views as we climb in the low November morning light. Once through the cloud layer though, unfortunately it was pretty overcast for the rest of the flight until on descent into Dublin. Flight time was just 42 mins.
A changeable day in Dublin, bright sunshine repeatedly interrupted by heavy showers and a strong southerly wind gusting up to 25 knots hitting the runways at Dublin side on, causing quite some heavy crosswinds... As you'll see in the spotting video taken this day at DUB.
