The drive from Nababeep to Port Nolloth was a longer drive than we usually take, but we could make up some time because it was a tarred road all the way. Driving through the Namaqualand region was absolutely incredible. The beauty of this stark landscape was good for our soul. The first thing we did as we arrived in the small seaport town of Port Nolloth was to buy something to eat and fish and chips was so appropriate. After a delicious lunch, we started to explore and found this to be a beautiful little town. The houses all along the beach, the seaport and the coastline all made a great impression. Of course, we couldn’t come to Port Nolloth and not visit McDougall’s Bay. The caravan park and all the cute cottages were stunning!
