We set out for a nature retreat, opting for a visit to Cape Point, located within the Cape of Good Hope section of the Table Mountain National Park in Cape Town. Expecting a serene weekday getaway, we were astounded by the bustling crowd of tourists revelling in the natural splendour. Undeterred, we embarked on a leisurely drive, meandering down every winding road, discovering hidden gems amidst the landscape. Along the way, we encountered some of the wildlife, both big and small, and most notably two eland, the world's largest antelope. Ascending to the historic lighthouse atop the point via The Flying Dutchman Funicular, we were greeted by a breathtaking panoramic view, offering insight into the allure that draws countless visitors to this remarkable place.
