Koringberg was a small village that we were particularly excited to visit due to its quaint, intimate and tranquil atmosphere. Upon arrival, we immediately sensed the relaxed ambiance surrounding us. It was delightful to discover that this tiny place once had a station, with the original nameboards still visible. Learning about the origin of the village name also made perfect sense to us when it was explained by our host. As we drove around on the gravel roads, admiring the wellkept houses, beautiful gardens and charming church, it became clear that the residents of Koringberg took great pride in their community.
