It's so hard to find all of this information in one place online regarding how to stay safe in the studio while making jewelry! This is likely the reason that it didn't cross my mind for so long during all of my research in my selftaught journey. These things are SO important to know and follow as soon as you can in your journey so that you can create good habits and work safely. Again, I am NOT the poster child for safety. I do my best to practice what I preach but ABSOLUTELY cut corners, I know that, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't try and do better every day and share my knowledge with all of you that are learning as well.
