Another winter day on Tomales Bay, my favorite sailing spot! Once again launched out of Marconi Cove. We were the only boat out today. Video was filmed with my Insta360 X3 mounted with a GoPro suction cup on the port bow. The camera erases the selfie stick, so it looks a little bit like an invisible man is pointing the camera at the boat. You can see the mount and the leash line I have tied to it so that if the thing falls off I won't lose it! It is fun to see the pram bow in this perspective. The camera has remarkable image stabilization, but even with it, since the camera was at the end of a selfie stick there was some oscillation present in some shots. We put in a reef after lunch just for fun and practice. The wind picked up a bit, and that was fun to see it work so well.
