What a difference from Sea Rim State Park on the Gulf of Mexico to our full hook up, no mosquitoes, working Verizon site here at Sam Houston Jones State Park near Lake Charles, Louisiana! We enjoyed getting our laundry done and sitting outside for a change.

What we love about Sam Houston Jones State Park:
1. Full hook ups!
2. Large grassy sites, many pull throughs
3. River and scenic lagoons
4. Trails for hiking and biking
5. Deer
6. No mosquitoes!
7. Nice laundry facilities
8. Helpful hosts
9. Fishing
10. Scenic park road for walking dogs, walking, running or biking

What we didn't love about Sam Houston Jones State Park:
Nothing to add here!
