Actor Sam Waterston ("Law & Order," "I'll Fly Away") presents the 2013 Paddy Chayefsky Laurel Award for Television to Joshua Brand & John Falsey, the duo responsible for creating some of the most memorable series in TV history including "St. Elsewhere," "Northern Exposure," and "I'll Fly Away."

The Paddy Chayefsky Laurel Award for Television is the WGAW's highest award for television writing, given to writers who have advanced the literature of television throughout the years and made outstanding contributions to the profession of the television writer.

Hosted by "Castle'"s Nathan Fillion, the 2013 Writers Guild Awards West coast show was held on February 17, 2013 at the JW Marriott L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles.
