Sambo was a true master of the kologo, and I think it's safe to say that he was the most popular musician in Bolgatanga (northern Ghana). He was about to record his first international album for Chop Time Music with the help of his good friend King Ayisoba. We were all looking forward to it.

Today I heard the sad, sad news of his passing.
Rest in peace, Sambo. We thank you.
