The Samsung Odyssey series is very popular with their always being a cool reason to buy one of the monitors such as the 1000R curve some have or the mini leds with high local dimming zones. That's why this G7 variation seems to come out of left field and go against the normal grain of what the G7 series monitors have been. This is basically a large smart TV disguised as a monitor but that might not be a bad thing, it just depends on what you need and want out of your monitor. There is plenty of upside here for people to enjoy but if you don't need or want some of the features here it might not be the best monitor for you.
